1) km/hr - m/s conversion:
X km/hr = [ X * ( 5/18 ) ] m/s.
2) m/s - km/hr conversion:
X m/s = [ X * (18/5) ] km/hr.
3) Time obtained by a Train of length l measures to complete an indication post is similar to enough time taken by the Train to cover l measures.
4) Time obtained by a train of length l measures to complete a stationery object of length n measures is the time obtained by the Train to cover (l + n) measures.
5)If 2 Trains or 2 things are going in the same route at u m/s and v m/s, where u > v, then their comparative rate is = (u - v) m/s.
6) If 2 Trains or 2 things are going in reverse directions at u m/s and v m/s, then their comparative rate is = (u + v) m/s.
7) Suppose 2 Trains begins at the same time from X and Y towards each other and after crossing they take x & y secs in reaching Y and X correspondingly, then:
(X’s speed) : (Y’s speed) = SQRT(y) : SQRT(x)
