IEEE Abstract - Overview :
This project provides a cellular program depending on offering Location Based Services(LBS) using Global Positioning System(GPS) as an area provider. The main purpose of this work is to design and apply a client server system that helps users to find their close relatives and receive signals when friends are nearby.
The mobile application was applied using J2ME where the most latest APIs and other mature APIs were mixed together to make the program efficient on all types of cell phones. The server was applied using servelets since servelets assures that the server would not be bombarded.

The type of the Data source used in it was MySQL. The average location precision of the program is about couple of measures.
